How to measure the oil cylinder of your excavator when you are unsure of your excavator model?
Pin Hole Thickness – Tube Side (A)
Measure the thickness of the hole where the cylinder tube connects.
Pin Hole Thickness – Rod Side (B)
Measure the hole thickness on the rod end connection.
Base Bushing Inner Diameter (C)
Measure the inside diameter of the bushing at the base of the cylinder.
Rod End Bushing Inner Diameter (D)
Measure the inner diameter of the bushing at the rod end.
Retracted Pin-to-Pin Length (E)
Measure the distance between pin centers when the cylinder is fully closed.
Rod Diameter (F)
Measure the thickness of the chrome rod.
Cylinder Outer Diameter (G)
Measure the outside width of the cylinder tube.
Extended Pin-to-Pin Length (H)
Measure the full length from pin to pin when the cylinder is fully extended.
